Harrington Boyd are currently working with an international client who are searching for a Senior SAP SCM Consultant to join their team in Germany! This position will largely be based remotely but with very rare travel, so you must have a valid driving licence for mobility.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality consulting and project support to international clients in the areas of Production Planning and Supply Chain Planning
- Work closely with business stakeholders to analyse planning processes, identify optimisation opportunities, and translate requirements into SAP PP/DS and IBP solutions
- Lead the configuration, customization, and implementation of SAP PP, PP/DS, and Supply Chain Planning modules (including IBP for Demand, Supply, and S&OP)
- Facilitate workshops, blueprinting sessions, and training for key users and planning teams to ensure successful adoption of new planning processes and tools
We are searching for the following skills & experience
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Production Planning and/or Supply Chain Planning (PP, PP/DS, IBP, APO)
- Strong experience delivering end‑to‑end planning solutions, including configuration, integration, and process design
- Deep understanding of core planning processes such as demand planning, supply planning, finite scheduling, MRP/MRP Live, capacity planning, and order sequencing
- Experience with S/4HANA (including embedded PP/DS) is highly desirable
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Pharmaceutical, or Consulting environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex planning concepts into clear business language
- Fluency in German and English is essential
