Harrington Boyd are currently working with a globally renowned packaging company who are searching for an SAP SD Consultant to join their team! This position will require some on-site work at the clients location near to Bavaria for the first 6 months before moving to fully remote (if you wish!).
Your responsibilities:
- Deployment of SAP SD (Sales) modules alongside the current in-house solutions that have been built specifically for the organisation
- Enhancement of existing systems through SAP customisation, including design, documentation, and ongoing support
- Assistance in planning and executing SAP projects, taking on sub-project management responsibilities
- Providing expert guidance and support to end users in their daily operations (2nd & 3rd Level Support)
- Designing and delivering training programs in collaboration with specialised department
Your skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP, ideally focusing on the SAP SD module
- The ability to create customisation's and integrate SAP SD with other areas within SAP
- Willingness to occasionally work on technical developments within SAP SD (using ABAP)
- Experience working with S/4HANA is not essential for this position, as the client will provide training when this topic arises
- Good ability to work closely with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are streamlined
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are a must
- Fluency in English and German
