The client is a dynamic, global organisation driving the future of mobility, and they are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support their expanding digital landscape.

Role Overview

As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and optimising their SAP environments to ensure seamless operations across our global business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance their SAP infrastructure while driving efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SAP environments, including installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

  • Provide technical support for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).

  • Ensure system availability, performance, and security across on-premise and cloud-based SAP solutions.

  • Collaborate with functional teams and business users to resolve SAP-related technical issues.

  • Implement best practices in SAP Basis operations, including monitoring, patch management, and backups.

  • Coordinate system integrations, migrations, and enhancements in line with business needs.

  • Work closely with infrastructure, database, and security teams to optimize SAP landscapes.

  • Support SAP system audits and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant in a large-scale environment.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP system administration, including installation, upgrades, and performance tuning.

  • Experience working with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and other SAP solutions.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP implementations (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

  • Understanding of SAP security, authorisation concepts, and system monitoring tools.

  • Hands-on experience with Solution Manager and system integration activities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP technical issues.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.
