The Role
This is a rare opportunity to shape the digital backbone of a global organisation from the ground up. Reporting to the CIO, the SAP S/4HANA Program Director will spearhead a multi-year transformation program, replacing their legacy ECC systems with a best-in-class S/4HANA solution. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap, building and leading the global program team, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring the program delivers tangible business value across all regions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA across global business units.
Define and manage the program roadmap, governance structure, and transformation strategy.
Build and oversee a high-performing program team including internal resources and external partners.
Ensure alignment between business goals, IT strategy, and transformation outcomes.
Manage stakeholder communication across C-level, regional leaders, and functional heads.
Control program budget, risks, timelines, and ensure delivery of key milestones.
Promote change management and adoption strategies to support successful rollout.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience leading large-scale SAP programs, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA greenfield implementation.
Deep understanding of SAP architecture, business process design, and implementation best practices.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional, multinational teams.
Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluency in English; German is a plus.
Background in the food & beverage or consumer goods sector is highly advantageous.
