Harrington Boyd are currently working with a globally renowned packaging company who are searching for an SAP Finance Application Manager to join their team! This position will require some on-site work at the clients location near to Bavaria for the first 6 months before moving to fully remote (if you wish!).
Your responsibilities:
- Streamlining and standardising company-wide core accounting processes within the SAP FI module.
- Assisting project management in the planning and execution of complex SAP projects, including new implementations and roll-outs.
- Supporting project management in SAP project planning and execution while managing specific sub-projects.
- Providing advisory services and technical support to end users at the 2nd and 3rd support levels.
- Developing training materials and conducting training sessions in collaboration with relevant departments.
Your skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP Finance
- Ability to work on the customisation and implementation of SAP Finance
- Ability to manage smaller projects relating to SAP Finance
- Knowledge of S/4HANA is not essential for the position, and training will be provided when the company starts to make the move
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English and German is essential
