About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead Consultant to join a dynamic team working on a high-impact SAP S/4HANA implementation for a globally recognised chemical manufacturing company. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the financial and controlling workstreams, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored to the organization's needs.

This is a 12-month contract role based in Belgium, offering a mix of on-site and remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the SAP FICO workstream lead for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Drive end-to-end solution design, configuration, and deployment for Finance and Controlling processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business units to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Lead workshops and design sessions to define business processes and system requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA functionalities, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Cost Center Accounting.
• Manage integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and external systems.
• Ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to junior consultants and project team members.
• Support data migration, user training, and go-live activities, ensuring a seamless transition to the new system.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong expertise in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with a deep understanding of business processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage workstreams in large-scale SAP projects.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functionality, including innovations and best practices.
• Experience working in the chemical manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance) are highly advantageous.
