SAP ABAP Developer

Harrington Boyd are currently working with a globally renowned packaging company who are searching for an SAP ABAP Developer to join their team! This position will require some on-site work at the clients location near to Bavaria for the first 6 months before moving to fully remote (if you wish!).

Your responsibilities:

Partnering with different SAP teams to ensure the company objectives are driven forward
Developing and documenting programs in compliance with the companies established guidelines and standards
Streamlining and standardising processes within the companies industry specific solution
Assisting project management with planning and executing SAP projects, including new implementations and roll-outs, while overseeing sub-projects for designated tasks
Creating training materials and facilitating training initiatives in collaboration with specialist departments

Your skills and experience:

At least 3 years of experience working in the field of application development (ideally focusing on SAP)
Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, SAP Script, SAP Dynpro
Basic knowledge of the core SAP modular areas
S/4HANA experience is not essential, training will be provided by the company when the implementation begins
Good stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluency in English and German is essential
